In late November, I took a chocolate class. I was hoping to get two things out of it. First, I wanted some good Claire allergy friendly chocolate. I love chocolate, and cannot have most chocolate. The second was to make some gifts for my family. These gifts were in addition to the truffles I had made at the truffle party.

This year for Christmas, I got what I considered to be a very thoughtful, nicely packaged, and deliciously useful gift from my in-laws: Different kinds of canned fruit, all packaged nicely, and with a note about how each one was made. Since the package was so wonderfully put together, I thought I would share it. If you want to give your home canned goods, this is a great way to present it and ensure that your hard work and thoughtfulness is appreciated. Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving dinner is all about family, giving thanks, and food. It is a date where people with different food needs or preferences can either fill left out, or, if you do it right, part of the family. There are so many dishes you can serve; it is easy to include something for everyone, with a little forethought. The main ingredients, turkey, potatoes, and gravy, can be adapted to meet the needs of the group.

Truffle Party
